Wildlife Field Day

This year's Wildlife Field Day will have two tracts:
"Exploratory Tract"For: younger 4-H'ers (ages 8 - 11), Theme: "Pennsylvania's Game Species":
This is an EDUCATIONAL tract. This year's theme for the Exploratory Tract is "Pennsylvania's Game Species." The management of these species helps to protect and preserve habitat for all wildlife species. Come explore leaning about our game species through fun outdoor activities!
"Competitive Tract"
For: older youth (ages 12 to 18) Theme: "Wildlife Habitat Evaluation." This is a competitive experience. There is project book for this tract. This book (for the older 4-H'ers only) can be downloaded by clicking on the Project Book button below or it is available through your county extension office. They can download this PDF file and copy it for you.

Registration
All registrations for the Wildlife Field Day should be submitted through county extension offices via this web site. (see registration link from February 1, 2008).All that is needed are the names, 4-H ages, tract, and county for each participant. Adults and volunteers attending should also register

If you must register late, have your 4-H Agent contact Sanford "Sandy" Smith directly at sss5@psu.edu.
Lunch will be provided at this event.
*Please note: Pictures may be taken at the event to be used on future web sites. No individuals will be identified on these sites. If you do not wish for your child's picture to be used in this manner, please notify the person taking pictures during the event.
**Transportation permission, and 4-H medical forms should be completed by all youth attending the event. This is the responsibility of the county cooperative extension personnel. They will not be collected at the event, but should be retained by the drivers.
