This year's Forestry Field Day will have two tracts:
"Exploratory Tract"
For: younger 4-H'ers (ages 8 - 11) Theme: "Forestry Skills." All 4-H'ers are invited regardless of whether they are carrying a wildlife or forestry 4-H project or not. This tract will introduce youth to the skills that foresters use on the job. It will also help them prepare for future involvement in forestry judging.
"Competitive Tract"
For: older youth (ages 12 to 18) Theme: "Forestry Judging." This is a competitive tract. There is project book for this tract. This book (for the older 4-H'ers only) can be downloaded by clicking on the Project Book button below or it is available through your county extension office. They can download this PDF file and copy it for you.
