Curriculum Management Team Members and Responsibilities

Team Composition:

  • Curriculum Development Specialist, (Claudia Mincemoyer)
  • Youth Program Management Coordinator ( )
  • Progam Leader, 4-H Youth Development (Chair) (Christy Bartley)
  • Chair of each curriculum committee
  • Ex officio: Department Head, AEE and State Program Leader, CYF

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Annually review proposals from curriculum committees.
  2. Attend one face-to-face meeting. Meet electronically as needed throughout the year.
  3. Establish curriculum priorities for the coming year.
  4. Recommend resource allocations for curriculum development.
  5. Identify projects to be reviewed annually and send to curriculum committees for review to recommend reprinting, revision, or deletion.
  6. Provide information to academic and regional unit leaders regarding curriculum priorities.
  7. Establish standards for re-ordering curricula (i.e. minimum number of youth enrolled.)
  8. Establish standards for web-curriculum development (i.e. which projects to develop on web.)
  9. Assure project leader/helper materials are developed with new curricula.
  10. Review draft curriculum to assure criteria for quality curriculum are met.

 

Team Meetings:

  1. Two face-to-face meeting will be held annually at University Park each September & February for proposal review, prioritizing curricula, and discussion of other curriculum issues.
  2. Technology-supported meetings will be held throughout the year as needed.
